⭕ Data Center Size:
Data centers can be classified as per size in a number of ways. One common way is to classify them by the number of racks they can accommodate. Another way is to classify them by their square footage.
◼ Data Center classified as per size:
Micro up to 1000 ft
Small: 1000 to 5000 ft
Medium: 5001 to 25,000 ft
Large: 25001 to 100,000 ft
hyperscale more than 100,000 ft

◼ Here is a classification of data centers by size, based on the number of racks:
Micro data center: Up to 10 racks
Small data center: 11 to 50 racks
Medium data center: 51 to 250 racks
Large data center: 251 to 1,000 racks
Hyperscale data center: More than 1,000 racks
Hyperscale data centers are the largest and most powerful data centers in the world. They are typically owned and operated by large cloud computing providers, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
