Open Platform:

This type of VMS is not tied to a specific manufacturer, providing greater flexibility for users who may want to mix and match different brands and technologies
Closed Platform:
Typically designed to work with specific hardware and software, often from the same manufacturer, offering a more controlled and potentially more stable environment but with limited flexibility.
Limited Integration not like open platform
