BioID is a Digital ID product developed to address a number of shortcomings in conventional systems of access control and border control. Leveraging the advantages of Blockchain technology, BioID allows biometric information to be stored safely in a distributed ledger, and also on the owner’s mobile device. Since data within a Blockchain database cannot be modified, the authenticity and integrity of the user can be easily checked and verified through a very small exchange of data, and without transmitting the biometric information.
